Products and Training Drive New Deals
Many dealers from across the country last month said business was steady and that new products and training programs offered by their distribution partners should help them effectively compete during the down economy.
“Business is good,” Gary Chorman, owner of Millman’s Appliances in Rehoboth Beach, Del., said from Almo’s Dealer Expo, held a week after Capitol Sales’ technology showcase just outside of St. Paul, Minn. “It’s all about putting footprints on the carpet.”
Chorman expects more wear and tear on his carpet now that he has access to Samsung’s full appliance line, which Almo announced at the show. The distributor invited several select dealers to view the line and meet with Samsung executives.
