Dog & Bone Debuts Patented, Keyless Bluetooth Padlock
Tired of fumbling for those little keys to unlock the padlock that secures your bike? Heck, maybe you’ve misplaced those keys and your two-wheeler is trapped to some telephone pole for the foreseeable future? Well, a new form of locking device from Dog & Bone—an Australian-based smart tech company—has an idea that will ensure users always have their key with them, so long as they continue to use a smartphone.
Dog & Bone’s patented, keyless Bluetooth padlock is a device that is controlled by an iOS or Android app, and eliminates the struggles of misplaced keys or forgotten codes. The waterproof LockSmart device provides users with a keyless, trackable, and secure solution for locking and accessing valuables, Dog & Bone said.
Through the LockSmart app, users can manage one or several padlocks and instantly share access with others while tracking the lock use. All activity can be viewed in the app, which displays usernames and date and time of use. Also, users can revoke access at anytime without having to exchange or ask for a key to be returned (sorry, Cosmo Kramer).
