E FUN, the California-based manufacturer of tablets and detachables, will have a couple of new additions to its Nextbook line of tablets and laptops on display at CES 2016 in Las Vegas this week. Included in the slate of new products are the new 2-in-1 Nextbook Ares Android tablet—the Ares 11A (pictured above right)—and three new models in the company’s Nextbook Flexx tablets powered by Windows 10, which include the Flexx 9A (above left), 10A, and 11A (below right).
Let’s start with the new 2-in-1: E FUN said the new tablet features the Android 5.1 operating system and is powered by a quad-core Intel AtomTM x5-Z8300 processor with 2GB of system memory. Further, the device includes 64GB of onboard storage and support an additional 64GB of expanded memory via microSD; support for miniHMDI, microUSB, and the aforementioned microSD; a 2 megapixel front-facing and rear-facing cameras; and Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi support. And the 11.6-inch screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio, which means entertainment options will be available in high definition. the Nextbook Ares 11A tablet will be available in the second quarter of 2016 and will retail for $219.99
