I recently read an article about management. Included in the piece was a listing of the top five factors that foster employee loyalty today. The survey was done earlier this year so I was curious to find what, if any, changes have taken place, considering the high unemployment rate and record number of weeks of unemployment insurance currently available. Perhaps you will be as amazed as I am at the results.
1. Job Security. Workers were focusing on avoiding unemployment. They felt that their skills and their own importance to the organization increased their chances of not getting fired.
