And now, as to the question of doubling U.S. exports, I am confused as to how this is even mathematically possible. I was not a strong math student in school, so to those of you who believe this is possible, I ask for your comments to help me understand.
Are we going to increase the food we grow in this country? How do we do so when we turn off the water to California’s farmers over a two-inch fish? Are we going to cease paying farmers not to grow crops? Are we going to export energy production like oil and natural gas? Are we going to export automobiles? How many European and Asian countries are bringing in Ford F-150 and Chevy Silverado pickup trucks? Are we going to export more military weaponry? Could we double that production over China, Russia and France? The AK-47 is the most exported military weapon in the world. I would say this is one product we need to stop exporting entirely.
