EDIFICE Bluetooth Timepieces by Casio “Fall Back” in Time
We hope that everyone—at least our U.S. and European readers, where daylight saving time is observed—enjoyed their extra hour of sleep this weekend. As you snoozed into the early hours of Sunday morning, the change very subtly happened. And, when you awoke, your smartphone was already adjusted to the time change.
Almost gone are the days of having to wind that watch back an hour to avoid showing up early for an appointment or meeting. Apple Watch and Android Wear users are already ahead of the curve there. And, with the new Casio EDIFICE line of timepieces, watch wearers are treated to the same auto-updating technology that assists them in keeping track of when our clocks stop for an hour or skip ahead. And like their smartphone counterparts and fellow smartwatches, the new line of Casio watches also adjust to different timezones.
"At Casio, we know our consumers are constantly on the go, and they need a timepiece to keep up with their busy pace - whether it's taking a red-eye coast to coast or jet-setting overseas," said David Johnson, Vice President of Casio's Timepiece Division. "With the EDIFICE EQB-500, we make adjusting for Daylight Saving Time or switching time zones a seamless process so consumers don't miss a beat."
