Electrograph Systems Inc. announced its acquisition Monday of International Computer Graphics Inc. (ICG), ending 20 years of competition between the two companies. Electrograph’s revenues nearly double to $550 million per year with the closure of this deal. This is the third acquisition for Electrograph this year, after acquiring ActiveLight and CineLight in February. Electrograph CEO Alan Marc Smith termed the deal “a home run,” claiming that it moves the company “closer to our goal of being a billion-dollar distributor.” Smith feels that ICG’s customer base, product lines, infrastructure, warehouses and staff will become great assets for Electrograph. The ICG management team will become part of the Electrograph management team, with ICG executives taking positions as Electrograph COO and CIO.
