Final hardware announcements were for a PS2 keyboard, mouse and NTSC/PAL/XGA LCD monitor, all of which will be available in November or December. SCEA did not disclose prices for these accessories.
GameCube, Nintendo's next-gen box, will launch in the US on November 5. The company announced a $199 price for GameCube after the show, but launch quantities are still not finalized. Six game titles will launch with the machine with prices TBA. These titles include Luigi's Mansion, Super Smash Brothers Melee, NBA Courtside 2002 and Starfox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet. Nintendo executive VP Peter Main said the company philosophy on software is "do fewer games better."
