Electronic Express Now NATM Member
Joining other members that include Boscov's and BrandsMart USA, Electronic Express announced its membership into NATM Buying Corporation. Founded in 1970, NATM is a national buying group representing 11 independent regional retailers in the appliance/electronics industry. It coordinates the buying and merchandising strategies for its members, and provides a forum for idea exchange. Over the years, NATM has developed strong partnerships with its suppliers, like Amana, Compaq, JVC, Sharp, Lenmar, Maytag, Toshiba, Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, Haier, HP, Pioneer and others.
For Electronics Express, the membership marks a step toward expansion. The Nashville-based company operates 15 consumer electronics stores in the middle-Tennessee area. Established in 1985, Electronic Express is an independent retailer offering a variety of name brand products, personal service, and most recently, custom home installation services.
It currently stocks over 2,000 product models with a comprehensive Web site featuring these categories broken down into such markets as LCD and plasma televisions, speakers, wireless phones, high-tech toys and portables. In total, there are 18 product categories featured at www.electronicexpress.com with a company-wide suggestion pool opened to consumers who would like to see even more product. The goal to join with NATM is to make more product supply a possibility, Electron Express reports.
