Electronics Expo Emerging From Bankruptcy; Temiz Plans Audio, Custom Focus
New Jersey retailer Electronics Expo has reached a deal to emerge from bankruptcy, with Leon Temiz owning the company, the Bergen County Record reported Thursday.
In an interview Thursday, Temiz told Dealerscope that "I still believe in this industry, but the business is changing dramatically."
A bankruptcy court approved the deal, which will include $1.5 million in investment from Temiz. The company, which had eight stores at its peak, will reemerge with two, although the Union Township store may close in favor of new, smaller stores. The corporate offices will be based in one of the stores, at the former site of the furniture store Fountains of Wayne.
