The Elite Distributor Alliance announced today that Dow Electronics has joined the 12 volt buying group's list of members. In a statement, EDA said that the addition of the Tampa, Florida-based distributor to the organization signified a strengthening of the group's influence in the southern part of the United States—traditionally a strong market for 12 volt products.
"DOW Electronics has exactly what we look for at EDA," Josh Eatherly, EDA's president, said in the statement. "DOW’s clean distribution model combined with strength in 12 volt matches up in a very complementary way. We have been looking to provide our customers in Florida with premium distributor and DOW fits that bill."
DOW Electronics added that they were "thrilled" to join the organization. "The alignment in direction, strategy, and commitment is very exciting," DOW Electronics CEO John Yodzis said in the statement. "EDA has a great vision for the future and we’re pleased to be part of it."
