Hyman Named CompTIA Lobbyist
Elizabeth Hyman has been named the vice president for public advocacy for CompTIA, the group announced Friday.
Hyman is a former vice president for international affairs at the Consumer Electronics Association, and worked in both the Justice Department and the office of the vice president during the Clinton Administration. She most recently oversaw government affairs for Lenovo.
“Liz will lead our efforts on the issues that impact our members and our industry, including education and workforce training, small business matters and cutting edge issues such as smart technology, green technology and cyber security,” said Todd Thibodeaux, president and chief executive officer of CompTIA, said as part of the announcement.
