Circuit City's Raynor Jumps to CompUSA
Enas Raynor, formerly of Circuit City, has joined CompUSA as vice president of business development, the company announced. Raynor spent 13 years at the now-liquidated retailer, at one point working as territory manager for the company's "The City" concept store.
“The appointment of Ms. Raynor reflects the strength of our position, despite the downturn,” Gilbert Fiorentino, CEO of parent company Systemax, said as part of the announcement. “While other companies have been contracting, we have hired over 700 staff members in South Florida, Texas and Puerto Rico, since CompUSA was acquired by Systemax in January of last year.”
Raynor will work with the company's "Retail 2.0" concept. Dealerscope spoke with Raynor in January about her job search.
