Executive Harrison Leaves Nintendo
Nintendo’s marketing chief, a veteran of the company who played a big role in the stateside success of the Wii console, will soon leave the company, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.
George Harrison, a Nintendo employee since 1992, told the Journal he was resigning after the company made the decision to move U.S. sales and marketing personnel from their current headquarters in the Seattle area to New York and San Francisco. Harrison stepped down rather than move to San Francisco.
Harrison, who will depart the company at year’s end, announced no future plans.
