It's been a two years since LG Electronics launched its ultra-premium LG SIGNATURE product lineup, and in that time no new products or refreshes have been announced. But in a statement emailed to Dealerscope on Monday, that's exactly what the Korean electronics firm said it plans to do at IFA 2018 this week. In Berlin, LG will unveil three new LG SIGNATURE series products: a new wine cellar, a standalone dryer, and a bottom-freezer refrigerator.
LG said that the concept The Art of Essence was the inspiration behind the LG SIGNATURE brand, which launched in 2016. That meant the company would strip out all of the features that "detracted from the brand's spirit," resulting in a streamlined look that would deliver top-quality products to the end user. To date, the line includes an OLED smart TV, an full kitchen suite (range, refrigerator, and dish washer), a combo washer/dryer, a standalone washer, and an air purifier.
