FatWallet.com Cyber Monday Survey Reveals Consumers’ Online Shopping Habits
While the focus of the study is on Cyber Monday shopping trends, the results of a FatWallet.com survey could prove to be a useful tool for retailers looking to improve their e-commerce performance. The survey of 1,000 U.S. adult shoppers found that around 60 percent planned to spend about the same or more on Cyber Monday, compared to last year. And, interestingly, consumers said that they’re more likely to get their information about Cyber Monday deals through Black Friday website and social media than from retailers’ websites or other traditional advertising methods.
What’s most revealing about consumers’ shopping habits for Cyber Monday, though, is that nearly one-third will skip the research portion of the path-to-purchase.
