The Ferrari of High-End Audio
More than a few people gravitated towards the bright red Ferrari in the North Hall at 2012 CES. The car was there to show off 13 audio products created in a collaboration between Ferrari and Logic3.
The products were built from the ground up, with input from both companies for the design and engineering elements. The results are two lines of high-end audio products: Scuderia, inspired by the F1 team, and Cavallino, by the GT road range.
The Scuderia line takes design cues from the outside of the Formula 1 automobile in color and with features like the vent on the R300 over-the-ear active noise-cancelling headphones, that run $320. The R200 is also available without the noise-cancelling feature, and both units offer the choice between a standard in-line remote or a 3-button made for Apple products.
