Recently, accessory maker Targus implemented the e-commerce service during the holiday season. SellPath's Product Links service literally sends buyers who are interested, in Targus' case, in buying notebook cases, immediately to a list of online retailers who carry those exact products.
According to Channel Intelligence's product specs, the solution also has a built-in step that ensures that click throughs end up on buy pages so that a product can be purchased immediately. Since most online shoppers tend to search out the immediate gratification of finding, clicking and buying without the "hassle" of walking into a store, the goal of this solution is to accelerate sales.
