Following Delay, Apple TV Update Arrives
After a delay of a couple of weeks due to technical difficulties, Apple Tuesday released the “Take 2” software update for its Apple TV product, AppleInsider.com reported.
The new version, which should take about six minutes to download and another 10-15 minutes to install, will enable users to rent movies from Apple’s iTunes Store in HD, while also introducing a new interface. Rentals will cost $3.99 for new movies and $2.99 for catalog titles, with prices of both rising $1 for HD versions.
The update is available for free, and is also included with purchases of new Apple TV boxes.
