iPad Sales Cross 2 MIllion Mark
Following its international launch last week, the Apple iPad device crossed the 2 million mark in sales, Apple announced Sunday.
The device hit the mark in under 60 days since its release April 3. The device arrived Friday in nine new countries- Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
"Customers around the world are experiencing the magic of iPad, and seem to be loving it as much as we do," Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO, said in a statement. "We appreciate their patience, and are working hard to build enough iPads for everyone."
