Former HP CEO Eyes Senate Run
Former HP chief executive Carly Fiorina is looking at running for a U.S. Senate seat in California in 2010, as a Republican. According to the AP, Fiorina has registered a campaign committee called "Carly for California," which will enable her to begin raising money.
Fiorina, who was CEO of HP from 1999-2005, was a spokesperson for John McCain during the 2008 presidential election. She is running for the seat currently held by Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.)
