Foxconn Agrees to Cut Hours
The notorious Chinese component supplier behind a spate of recent negative news stories about Apple has agreed to reduce the hours of its workers, according to an AP report.
Foxconn, the Fair Labor Association said, has agreed to enforce a legal limit of 49 hours per week for employees. The limit was routinely ignored previously.
Foxconn has over one million workers throughout China that build products for a variety of American CE manufacturers.
