The Wireless Speaker and Audio Association has been on a growth tear since the organization launched barely two years ago. The industry group is comprised of more than 40 leading brands, including founding member Summit Wireless Technologies. This week, though, the group announced that three more organizations have joined on in support of the association’s expanding efforts to create a top-notch wireless home audio platform: Foxconn Technology Group, Innovo Audio Designs, and System Audio.
The association credits the strong and recent growth to their WiSA Ready platform, which these new members will help in advancing the adoption and availability of through their various channels.
“Our newest members bring meaningful experience, versatility and scalability to our member roster,” Tony Ostrom, president of WiSA, said in a statement. “Given our explosive member growth this year, we have gained critical mass and are eager to assist our members in launching a broad range of innovative products that support a global movement in support of wireless audio. The recent momentum is also a testament to the success of our WiSA Ready certification.”
