Fred Klipsch Stepping Down as Klipsch CEO
Fred Klipsch will step down as CEO of Klipsch Group after 22 years, and will be replaced by Paul Jacobs, Audiovox announced Wednesday.
Klipsch will remain Klipsch Group Chairman and will stand for election to the Audiovox board, the company said. Audiovox purchased Klipsch earlier this year.
“When we disclosed the acquisition of Klipsch, we indicated that the management of the company would remain, and the culture and philosophy of Klipsch would not change. This appointment assures that direction," Audiovox CEO Pat Lavelle said in a statement.
