Amazon Debuts Electronics Products
Fresh off the success of the Kindle book-reading device, Amazon has introduced a new line of branded consumer electronics products. Under the title Amazon Basics, the line includes HDMI, A/V and USB cables, Ethernet cords and blank media.
The site's special section also includes help guides for various CE and home theater products.
An Amazon executive told the New York Times that he expects the offerings to expand in the future, although he doubted HDTVs or other big-ticket items would become part of the site any time soon.
