Friday in CE: Will Google Renaming Android Wear to Wear OS Fix Fundamental Issues?
Let's address the elephant in the room. Google is again changing the name of one of their programs and, per usual, it still doesn't fit any coherent theme. Their practice of shifting names and purposes and flooding their own market with similar apps is starting to leave a sour taste in my mouth. It's as if they want a fragmented market of confusing Android programs instead of any sort of unity.

Well the new name change from Android Wear to Wear OS was rumored to happen at their upcoming I/O developers' conference but it seems that they are ready to pull the trigger now.
