FutureVision Exceeds Expectations
The second annual FutureVision conference took place this week in Sonoma, Calif. Organizers said the event "exceeded expectations." We'll have more on the event next week, but here's a Friday teaser for you.
The conference was designed to provide leaders in CE retail with "the unique opportunity of designing the future of consumer electronics retailing," said the conference's description. "It’s not about next year’s budget or 2016’s…It’s about the key trends coming over the next three years for retailers. This exclusive format allows retailers to listen and connect with industry visionaries and elite manufacturers — through exceptional networking, business meetings and strategic information sharing sessions."
A number of speakers took the stage, including Charlene Li, author and emerging technologies thought leader; David Pogue, Chief Technology Journalist, Yahoo; Jack Uldrich, global futurist, speaker and author; Mike Linton, former CMO of eBay and Best Buy; Natasha Hritzuk, senior director of global insights, Microsoft; Richard D. Parsons, former CEO of Time Warner; and Steve Greenberg of Innovation Insider and NBC's Today show.
