GameStop, AT&T to Collaborate on Retail Technology
GameStop and its GameStop Technology Institute (GTI) announced Tuesday that it has teamed up with AT&T to "further its focus on delivering to its brick-n-mortar retail stores technology advancements that drive positive customer experiences and accelerate the pace of change within the retail industry."
As part of the deal, GameStop will add AT&T Network Services, such as AT&T Business Fiber, to its retail stores. The deal also includes efforts to deliver "rich video game content" to consumer devices.
“GTI’s mission is to deliver advanced retail experiences to meet customers’ needs on their terms both in our physical and online stores,” Jeff Donaldson, senior vice president of the GameStop Technology Institute, said as part of the announcement.
