Gearing Up for Selling Season
MB Quart will revamp its merchandising for its dealers. "When a customer walks into an MB Quart dealer store, they'll know it," President Keith Lehmann said. The company plans to increase its in-store visibility with POP displays and will distribute new authorized dealer plaques.
The Panasonic National In-Line Skating Series embarks on its 10-city tour this month where Panasonic will display its latest products and hold drawings for product and T-shirt giveaways. Next month, it begins the Shock America Tour.
Sony launches the "biggest promotion in history from a car audio perspective," Ron Boir, vice president of mobile electronics, said. The April to mid-July promotion called Jam with Style ties Sony car audio to the National Basketball Association. When purchasing a Sony car stereo MD product, consumers also score an NBA Starter jacket valued at $50, and dealers can draw traffic by signing up their customers for a Pontiac Sunfire convertible giveaway sponsored by Sony. The promotion will be supported with point-of-purchase displays and heavy print and television advertising.
