“Digital Sundays provide consumers with the opportunity to learn the basics of digital photography and various options available for printing at a convenient location,” said Mike Bloom, CVS’ senior vice president of merchandising. “Many consumers feel overwhelmed by the numerous printing options for digital photos. These interactive workshops will give them the freedom to have fun with their photos and will end some of the technology mysteries of digital cameras.”
During May’s National Photo Month, OfficeMax also launched a nationwide campaign to boost digital camera sales. Every customer who purchased a digital camera at OfficeMax received a coupon for one free 24x36-inch color poster print of their favorite image. The $29.99 value was redeemable at OfficeMax ImPress, the chain’s document and print service center.
