Global Rollout of the LG G7 ThinQ Smartphone Gets Underway
LG takes the next big step in it’s smartphone arms race with Samsung and Apple with the rollout of the G7 ThinQ this week in it’s home market of South Korea, with the U.S. and other markets following shortly thereafter. The phone, making up a variety of firsts for the company, will surely be a standout product for the brand’s flagship G Series.
The G7 ThinQ comes packed with a generous 6.1 inch QHD+ display, which works to remain visible even in the brightest of light conditions. Creating a rich audio experience, the phone carries a Boombox speaker that has a larger than average bass capacity amongst its competitors.
But, perhaps, what’s most impressive with the device is the camera. What would otherwise be seen as a standard 8 MP front- and 16MP rear-facing camera duo is further enhanced, unexpectedly, with Google Lens right out of the box. This is among the first in smartphones to offer this feature built-in.
