GM is First Auto Maker to offer Satellite Radio
HAMTRAMCK, Mich. -GM began producing XM Satellite Radio-equipped Cadillacs on November 5, making GM the first automaker to bring satellite radio technology to market. Cadillac is offering XM as an option on the 2002 DeVille and Seville models; GM will expand availability to over 20 additional models in 2003. The XM-enabled Caddys are to become commerically available at the end of this week and roll out nationwide over the next several weeks.
