Take a fresh look at your retail business. Put yourself in your customer’s shoes. Would you want to come in and spend your time and money? If you hesitate at all, you may need to think about revamping your retail business’s architecture and design.
The design of your building is an integral part of your overall brand. Smart business owners understand that time and money are precious, and they’re asking people to spend both. Innovative and creative design is an important first step.
Your goal is to invite people to come in and stay as long as they like. Chances are, the longer they stay, the more money they’ll spend. So, pay attention to anything that relates to the customer experience. Know what kind of customer you’re going after—designs will be quite different for a country store than a posh boutique.
