Google Glass Coming to Glasses Stores?

Google may be planning an unorthodox distribution strategy for its Google Glass products: the prescription lens market.

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that Google is in contact with the eyeware industry to offer the wearable product in optometry offices, Google Glass-enabled prescription glasses.

Google Glass was introduced last year to a small group of early adopters, but Google has not yet released the product to the larger market or announced any plans or a timetable to do so.
