Google TV Plans Comeback at CES
The initial launch of the Google TV software was less-than-successful when it took place in 2010. But Google is planning to begin its second Google TV push next week at International CES.
LG, Samsung, Sony and Vizio will all debut products at the show featuring the technology, Google said Thursday on its official Google TV blog. Other partners include shipset manufacturers Marvell and MediaTek.
"Google TV is about bringing new entertainment and innovation from the Web to TV and our team along with our partners are pleased to bring more Google TV powered products to more people, across more devices in more countries in 2012," Google's Mickey Tim posted to the blog.
