Google to Unveil NFC "Wallet"

Google on Thursday will announce a new near-field communication-based product called Google Wallet, the This is My Next... website reported Wednesday.

According to the report, Google has lined up multiple retail partners, including the Container Store chain.

The company has a press event scheduled in New York for Thursday morning.
