HD DVD: Not Quite Dead Yet
Even though Toshiba pulled the plug on its HD DVD format more than six months ago, consoles and movies in the format continue to sell surprisingly well, mostly due to deep price cuts.

While the players and movies in the format are no longer sold by most major electronics chains, they are still available at Amazon, plus resellers and other smaller stores. And while no new movies have been released on HD DVD since the spring, a rather large library of films became available in the format during its brief life.
