Hisense USA has appointed Chris Annen to the post of Vice President, Consumer Electronics Sales. Earlier this year, David Gold was named president of Hisense USA, who in his previous role of VP led the growth of the CE division in the U.S.
Annen joined Hisense earlier this year as the Senior Director of Sales and E-Commerce, and brought more than 20 years of experience in sales, finance, operations and digital marketing to the role. His expertise resulted in the development of key business relationships, and the establishment of innovative practices and processes through sales channels, says Hisense.
Prior to joining Hisense USA, Annen was the Vice President and General Manager of Sales and Operations at Samsung Electronics America. There, he opened a West Coast satellite office, increasing sales and overall growth with key retail partners that were strategic to Samsung’s overall success.
“Chris’ time at Hisense has already proven successful, especially within key e-commerce relationships, processes, and strategies,” said Gold in the announcement statement. “With his strong background and successes in the industry, I’m looking forward to seeing the impact Chris has on our continued growth and expansion.”
“David laid a great foundation with a focus on product quality and performance, and I’m looking forward to building on that to develop and deepen relationships and oversee strategic planning, performance management and improvement in processes. We’ve made incredible progress in the last couple of years, and I look forward to pushing that even further,” added Annen in the statement.
