Hisense’s 100-inch 4K Laser TV Hits the U.S. Market
Hisense has begun selling for the first time in the U.S. market the latest iteration of its 100-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart Laser TV. Six years in development, this is the TV’s third-generation design; it was launched in a 1080p version two years outside America, said Dr. Lan Lin, executive vice president of Hisense Group, at the introduction in New York City this week.
The newest, all-in-one design, at $9,999, offers a smaller footprint and as opposed to earlier versions where the audio system was entirely outboarded, has built-in audio, courtesy of Harman/Kardon’s 110-watt, 2.1-channel system with Class D digital amplification; the new audio design does include an external wireless subwoofer. The package also comes with a 100-inch Screen Innovations Ambient Light Rejection Screen.
