HKTDC Hosts Spring Virtual Expo
In wake of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak which prompted the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition)’s cancellation, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is hosting a Spring Virtual Expo (https://sourcing.hktdc.com/), to enable SMEs (small- and medium-sized enterprises) to continue to expand in mature and emerging markets. It will run through the end of April.
The Spring Virtual Expo, which features suppliers within 33 different product categories, has been launched with a mission to deploy technologies and online platforms “to connect businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises around the world,” the organization said.
The HKTDC’s Online Marketplace, hktdc.com Sourcing, accessible via the web and via a mobile app, HKTDC Marketplace, available at Apple's App Store and on Google Play, features around 130,000 suppliers and enables over 24 million business connections made every year, says HKTDC. Supplier information is verified by third-party organizations to enhance buyers’ sourcing confidence, and buyers can also see suppliers’ credentials, including their track record in export and participation in HKTDC Trade Fairs.
HKTDC is also offering its complimentary Customized Business Matching service during April to help buyers with more sophisticated product needs.
