Home Theater Store Opens New Dallas Location, Throws Party
Home Theater Store celebrated the opening of its latest Dallas location last week with a gala event for vendors and suppliers. The evening began with cocktails at the new venue, situated in Highland Park off of Knox/Henderson and Central Expressway. After a visit to furnishing outlet Mody & Mody, named for the Mody family that runs both it and the Home Theater Store, guests were treated to a dinner at Abacus, a highly rated Dallas restaurant, before a champagne toast back at the new store’s showroom.
The guest list included such industry VIPs as D&M Holdings President Bob Weissburg, Fujitsu Vice President of Sales Michael Gleason, HTSA Executive Director Richard Glikes, Mitsubishi Senior Vice President of Sales Max Wasinger and Sharp Senior Vice President of Sales, Steve McNally.
The store features flat-panel displays, European-engineered furniture, back-lit wall systems, storage solutions, motorized lifts and wall mounts as well as a 60-inch projection screen that rises from the foot of a king size bed. Says Home Theater Store CEO Mihir Mody, “Our vision was to design an environment in which clients, architects, designers or custom builders can wander around the showroom to explore and find a perfect solution for their custom needs in a same manner as one would go to a decorative center to select fabrics or furniture of choice.”
