The Social Network: Start Socializing
In my columns, I’ll discuss different aspects of marketing to younger demographics from research I’ve learned on my own, at school or through everyday life. Much of what I learn will be incorporated into schvee.com, a new social networking/marketing/sales site I’ve been developing in conjunction with Vann’s.
Social networking and its many forms is the new communication tool for consumers and businesses. It has become so prevalent in younger peoples’ lives that they’re starting to log in on their phones when they can’t get to a computer. Most teens and twenty-somethings are even connected to them through their phones. CE companies need to be involved in that lifestyle.
Schvee.com provides a wholesome opportunity to connect with existing and potential consumers. Schvee.com is not just a Vanns.com outlet, but as a platform for any CE company that wants to explore new ways to tap younger market segments.
