Dealerscope: Some dealers wish they had more software-based products to choose from. Do you agree? Are customers ready for a broader range of those products?
Yacoubian: I don’t know that I need more partners to choose from. MyerEmco has always developed key partnerships with the leaders in their categories. In the control category, this is even more important since you must have the expertise to explain the possibilities each system you represent offers, to design systems that address the needs of your clients and to install these systems.
Too many brands in our company would create too much of a possibility of falling short in the experiences we deliver. That being said, I would love to see these systems do a better job seamlessly integrating with each other and with the many products in the CE space. Too many of what we have to create in this space are “one-offs” that we cobble together on an ad-hoc basis.
