Intel Flaw Leads to Refunds
The news of a flaw in Intel's new chipset is beginning to have an effect on CE manufacturers, as HP, Dell, Samsung and Asus have begun offering refunds on some affected PCs.
According to Dow Jones Newswires, 8 million flawed chips have been shipped by Intel since early January, although only a fraction of those actually reached customers.
The new Sandy Bridge processor was unveiled at International CES in January. See Intel's page about the error here.
