HP introduced an array of newly designed PC products and accessories, including a new look for its HP Pavilion and HP Media Center Desktop PCs and monitors.
The redesign is inspired by demand for digital entertainment, says HP. Select models provide a connection to R-series HP digital cameras and Apple's HP iPod from a removable docking station located on the top of the PC chassis. These features are included on the HP Pavilion d4000 Series Desktop PC, HP Pavilion a1000 Series Desktop PC, and the HP Media Center m7000 Series Photosmart PC .
Out of the box, HP Pavilion and HP Media Center Photosmart PCs will also include Norton Internet Security 2005 and Intermute's SpySubtract Pro, including 60 days of complimentary updates to safeguard hardware from Spyware and viruses. According to the company, these programs are provided pre-installed from the first moment the PC is powered-on.
