HTSA Adds Stereo East as Newest Member
The Home Theater Specialists of America (HTSA) this week welcomed Stereo East, a surround-sound specialist in Frisco, Tex., as its newest member. Stereo East becomes the HTSA’s 62nd member, and third new entrant this summer.
Stereo East, founded 21 years ago, originally sold laser discs, and now caters to the building market. The company recently opened a 10,000-square-foot facility in Frisco, about 30 miles north of Dallas.
The HTSA’s 60th member, Synergy Audio Video, joined the buying group in July, with Cyber Sound and Security becoming the 61st member less than two weeks later. To become a member of the group, HTSA requires a company to have been in business for at least five years, to have annual sales of over $5 million, and to pay an annual membership fee of $7,500.
