HTSA Holds Successful “Sell More Audio” Masterclass Series Event
The Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) held its first Masterclass Series member education program recently. After receiving feedback from members and vendors, HTSA Executive Director Jon Robbins declared the program a success and said his national retail and custom integration buying group plans to develop more of the programs in the future.
The first class, titled “Sell More Audio,” drew upon in-depth research commissioned by HTSA, which yielded an all-new, customized sales process optimized for the association’s members. The event was held at the Embassy Suites in Kennesaw, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta.
During the intensive day-and-a-half program, HTSA members participated in a series of group and breakout sessions, each of which thoroughly covered one element or perspective of a “multilayered sales process newly developed to help members drive sales of high-performance audio/video systems,” HTSA explained. The core elements of that program were derived from months of research into the differing approaches to step-up selling of high-performance A/V systems. The research, commissioned by HTSA, was conducted by The Deborah Smith Group.
