Pirch, an innovative luxury store that specializes in kitchen, bath, and outdoor appliances, held the grand opening for its ninth flagship store last week in the trendy SoHo section of lower Manhattan. There, around a thousand invited guests gathered in the massive 32,000-square-foot facility that houses a number of fully-functioning showrooms.
One particular showroom called the “Connected Loft” is literally a functioning loft space that has a kitchen, bathroom, and living area, along with an attached conference room. The space is a first for the company—Pirch likes to add a new feature with each new store opening that makes the experience at that particular store unique. The room is also being called the “embodiment” of the growing collaboration between Pirch and buying group HTSA.
The first collaboration between the two groups was realized during the opening of Pirch’s Oakbrook, Illinois location where Joe Barrett of Barrett’s Technology Solutions (an HTSA member) met with Pirch management to become one of Pirch’s Synergy Partners—third-party companies that offer compatible products often needed for installations but that are not directly offered by Pirch.
