Shooting prosumer-quality virtual reality or 360-degree video content is an aspiration for a lot of consumers—myself included. However, one of the things that may be holding most of them (or us) back is the fact that they don’t have a prosumer-level budget, and those types of cameras and equipment don’t run cheap. But a new entrant from HumanEyes Technologies looks to solve that problem without sacrificing powerful performance.
The Vuze XR Camera, scheduled to launch in Q4 of this year, is a dual camera system that will be capable of capturing full 360-degree video and images and, at the click of a button, be able to convert to an immersive VR180 format. HumanEyes calls the unique design portable and simple to use, saying that the product will be the ideal pocketable device for content creators, social media enthusiasts, travelers, adventure seekers, and families.
