HyperX, tech company Kingston's gaming division, has announced that they will now be shipping their next-gen gaming headset, the HyperX Cloud Alpha, to gamers around the world. HyperX is introducing a number of new, next-gen features such as custom 50mm dual chamber drivers that separate bass frequencies from the mids and highs in order to "provide more accurate and smoother in-game audio" as well as truly immersive sound.
The dual chamber drivers also provide "more distinction and clarity" by reducing the distortion.
Tyler Needles, global audio business manager for HyperX, explained that "Cloud Alpha is the first gaming headset to integrate HyperX dual chamber technology" and that the product "delivers the best possible audio performance, comfort and build quality for the ultimate competitive advantage for top eSports pros and casual gamers around the world."The detachable braided cable that comes with the headset allows for convenient in-line audio control. The microphone can also be detached from the aluminum frame.
